Based on a amazing project thought up by N-O-D-E and executed by Vamp_R on Thingiverse. My take on this pretty cool concept.
I 3D printed my case using the files provided by Vamp_R’s Thingiverse post. They also have very good pin-out information for building most of the unit including the parts list. I did make the mistake of using filler primer so my tolerances are kinda off on my keyboard. Works fine for me but if I ever did this over i wouldn’t paint the shell.
My additions are a button for syncing the bluetooth keyboard. I didn’t like the idea of not being able to sync my keyboard if I decide to swap distributions. I soldered a simple button to the traces on the board for the old sync button.
I added in this small USB hub board in to the device for future USB additions etc; USB WiFi or SDR modules.
